Welcome refreshments

In keeping with our reputation for hospitality, refreshments of your choice (sherry/cocktails/fruit juice/Sangria/iced tea) are served after the ceremony at the dam under the Pergola or in the garden. This will allow the photographer time to take those special photos whilst your guests enjoy the company of friends and family in peaceful surroundings. From here, guests are ushered to the hall where they can relax and listen to background music whilst waiting for the newly weds.

The “Captains Den”

The Captain’s Den is a bar & deck facility used with the garden wedding functions and ideally decorated to give you that nautical feeling. The deck also features braai/spitbraai facilities.

Zwakala Boma

The Zwakala Boma is ideal for those who would enjoy a nightcap after the function with close friends and family around the bonfire. The boma is situated next to the Captain’s Den bar facility.

Deposit

The deposit payable forms part of the outstanding balance, which is due 16 working days prior to the wedding function date. The deposit is not refundable in the event of any cancellations, and cancellation fees are payable depending at which time of the contract you have cancelled. The following deposits, as well as the signing of the terms and conditions, are payable to reserve the date and venue: (deposits can be paid in 2 payments)

Weddings up to 199 guests R5500
Weddings in excess of 200 guests R10 500

Special Packages

New Year & Winter special – estimated saving of R10 000 for 100 guests

Monday to Friday special – estimated saving of R5000 plus free gift to the couple when venue is booked consisting of:

• Choice of 2 bridal suites for preparation for the bride and groom
• Use of Casa Mia Pamper room for Casa Mia make up artist and hairstylist
• Mini foot spa treatment for bride with juice in Casa Mia Pamper room
• Overnight for the couple in the luxury bridal suite including picnic breakfast (weather permitting)

One Stop Service

At Casa Mia, our goal is for you to relax and allow us to co-ordinate your special day, professionally and punctually. Consultations with the owner, who has many years of experience as a wedding planner, will assist you with the planning and organising of the wedding. Co-ordination of the wedding on the special day is included at no extra charge. We believe in excellent customer service, and have been voted the National Gold Award winner for in-house event planning. The following can be arranged at Casa Mia: Pastor, beautician, hairstylist, flower and candle arrangements, musicians and DJ, additional décor, theme weddings, photographers, wedding cakes and gifts. Theme weddings include Spanish, Zen, African, Sea breeze, Medieval, Tropical, Fairytale and many more.
